Athena, a divine pipe from Saint-Claude:
The Eole Athena pipe is a piece conceived by La Pipe Rit's team. It is a series we had made by a local craftsman in Saint-Claude (French Jura mountains).
For this line, we wanted a bent, classic pipe, made from high-quality briar. We wanted the natural wood grain and flames it displayed to be highlighted as much as possible. The briar does not have any pit.
A French pipe with a lot going for it:
The bent shape of this Eole pipe is no coincidence. This shape makes it fit extremely comfortably in mouth.
Regarding the stem, we chose to go with vulcanite, as it is the most comfortable under the tooth. Maintenance-wise, we recommend you use stem polish, applied with a cloth. By doing so regularly, the stem will keep its shine for several years!
