A truly unique French pipe:
This pipe is part of the "Digitale" series by the French pipe maker Joseph Rostiak. This collection contains some very limited edition pieces, that all have the same design, but a different finish. In the end, all these pipes are therefore unique!
This Rostiak Digitale is reminiscent of the "pickaxe" shape. This type of pipes (with a pointed bowl) are very common in J.R.R. Tolkien's universe. Bilbo the Hobbit smoked this kind of pipe, with a very long stem. This churcwarden pipe is almost 21.4cm long.
The piece featured here has a large bowl (narrow in terms of width, but especially deep). This smooth briar bowl does not have any fill. The shank's beveled edge is ornamented with two aluminum inserts.
- A unique piece, 100% made in France
- A delight to hold in hand
- An unmatched design
