The Italian brand Ser Jacopo has just celebrated its 40 years of existence. This year 2022 is therefore very special for the workshop founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi!

At Ser Jacopo, the "Mastro Geppetto" collection is characterized by classic pipes at very interesting prices. In Italy, handmade pipes (or "fatte a mano") are common but it is rare to be able to get one at such a low price!

Mastro Geppetto's story? Once upon a time, there was an old wood carver called Geppetto. He had a lot of imagination and a great love for his work. One day, a friend, Mastro Ciliegia, gave him a lovely old piece of wood, knowing that he would be pleased. Early the next day, Geppetto took up the piece of wood and decided that he would carve a puppet who would help him feel less lonely. He worked hard at the piece of wood and at the end, he created a puppet that came to life with a touch of magic, becoming his life-long companion. And what if Geppetto that morning had made a pipe out of that piece of old wood instead of a puppet?

A unique piece, handmade in Italy:

First of all, it is necessary to know that this model in smooth briar (called "Liscia") is a unique creation. You are therefore assured to receive the copy that we have taken care to photograph in detail. Speaking of details, you will notice that the wood grain is gorgeous: many beautiful birdseyes and straight grains are visible on both sides of the bowl.

This Mastro Geppetto pipe is equipped with an acrylic saddle stem for more comfort in mouth. In addition to that, you can smoke this pipe with a 9mm filter. Even if it is possible to smoke without, we strongly recommend you to opt for this system because it is today the best way to get a soft and dry smoke in mouth!

As you can see on the pictures, the pipe will be delivered with its protective fabric case and placed in its Mastro Geppetto box.
