Luigi Viprati has chosen our online shop www.pipeshop-saintclaude.com to present his new creation. This unique pipe owns an high-end quality. Like all the Viprati pipes, this one was designed in Luigi Viprati workshop and has been entirely handmade.

The pipe maker has classified this pipe in the "Gold Collection" as this is one of his most beautiful briar pipes. Indeed we can notice a beautiful straight grain pattern on each side, as well as many birdseyes on the front - and underneath - of the bowl. This Luigi Viprati pipe is a must-have!

For this pipe collection, I have been very careful with the selection of the grain and the bird's eye pattern. I am equally fascinated by the rigorous linearity of the straight grain pipes and by the sinuous movement of the bird's eye grain pipes. These pipes were made from rare large pieces of briar, then seasoned from 7 to 10 years.

A Dublin "straight grain" pipe, from the Gold Collection:

It is quite impossible to ignore this surprising shape of this Luigi Viprati pipe. It has a "Dublin" shape, characterized by a flared bowl and an holding of the most pleasant.

Regarding the mouthpiece, the craftsman chose an acrylic stem with a 9mm filter, which is a rather rare occurrence on Italian pipes.

We recommend replacing this filter every pipe so that it stays as efficient as possible.
