The first pipe tamper by the "Eole" brand:

This is the first pipe tamper by Eole (La Pipe Rit's own brand). It was entirely made in Saint-Claude, in the French Jura mountains. It is a 100% French product you'll find on our online shop only. It is one of the only pipe tampers made in France, with Laguiole's.

A simple and effective tool:

This pipe taper is an essential accessory for all pipe smokers. All smokers need one, to pack the tobacco inside the bowl and manage the tobacco's burning. 

We went for a simple, elegant and handy design for this pipe tamper. Made of aluminum (by a local craftsman), it is made up of a tamper and a cleaning rod. To get to the rod, you only need to unscrew the pipe tamper (as seen on the pictures).

With its 1.4cm diameter, it will fit in all of your pipes!
