Dublin

The Dublin shape is a pipe silhouette relatively simple but still elegant. According to some rumors, it would seem that the pipe is so called because Sir Daniel O'Connell (an Irish politician in the XVIII century) used to smoke this kind of pipe in the streets of Dublin. The Dublin pipe can easily be recognized by its conical and flared bowl. It is therefore larger at the top than at the bottom (unlike a bell). Most generally of a straight shape (but it also exists in a bent and half bent shapes), Dublin shaped pipes are extremely pleasant to hold in hand. Visually, it is a silhouette that lends itself perfectly to put forward the grain of the wood. On the most beautiful models, we can find a well straight flame all around the bowl, and then birdseyes at the top, on the rim of the bowl. In this category, we can propose you various Dublin shaped pipes, of all styles (with a waxed, natural or even colored finish), to suit all budgets.
