A unique creation by the Ascorti family:
The Caminetto workshop has always worked with the most beautiful briars to create outstanding pipes. For more than 50 years, each creation is handmade in Italy. For the Ascorti family, the quality of the raw materials and the care given to the various stages of manufacture are essential.
How do you recognize a Caminetto pipe? The stem is decorated with an elegant moustache! It is the signature of Caminetto pipes "La Pipa Del Baffo".Bastien, La Pipe Rit
The "reverse calabash", a rare design :
You certainly already know the cabalash pipe? This silhouette is indeed well known by smokers because it offers a smoother and fresher smoke in the mouth. We describe this model as a reverse calabash because the decantation chamber is not under the bowl but on the shank. The concept remains the same: this internal space allows to condense the excess of humidity and to give back an even more pleasant smoke.
We really appreciate the contrast between the upper curved part (with a light finish) and the rest of the briar (darker). Unlike a classic calabash, the bowl (ie the part that hosts the tobacco) does not disassemble.
In hand, this Caminetto pipe is very comfortable. In fact, it is one of the shortest Caminetto pipes you will find!
