Smoking a long pipe is an experience like no other:

Designed in the Netherlands, the Big Ben "churchwarden" are long pipes of very nice quality. In this special collection, each pipe has an extremely long stem (about 20cm) and a reinforcing ring at the stem. Thanks to the length of the stem, the smoke has enough time to cool down before it comes out at the end.

It is typically the kind of pipe that we love to smoke quietly at home with a good book or while watching television. The bowl being far from your eyes, the smoke will not bother you at all!

A rare straight shaped pipe with a 9mm filter:

On this briar model, the black matte lacquered finish is impeccable. For good reason, the craftsmen at Gubbels (Big Ben's parent company) are true specialists in colored pipes. This is a step they master to perfection and which allows to obtain an elegant and modern look (compared to a classic brown finish).

The other particularity to remember is without any doubt the fact that this pipe is equipped with a 9mm filter. It is indeed very rare to find a long pipe (pre-cut) with this filter system. The 9mm filter is now the best way to offer a soft smoke, free of a maximum of impurities (nicotine, tars).
